Offering your musical gifts to the Father in the liturgy is a beautiful and rewarding experience! We encourage skilled musicians of all ages to serve God and his people as a member of St. Peter's music ministry team. If you are a musician but do not have experience helping with liturgical music, we are happy to help you get started!

Sunday Choir

Choir members offer their voices in service to the parish for Sunday Mass and other special occasions. The choir meets at 8:45 a.m. in the Pastoral Center, Classroom 5, for a rehearsal prior to singing at the 9:30 a.m. Mass. There is an optional rehearsal on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm in the same room.

Seasonal Christmas/Easter Choir

Join us in singing for the solemn feasts of Christmas and Easter! Rehearsals for Christmas usually begin the first Sunday of Advent. Rehearsals for Easter usually begin the first Sunday of Lent.

Cantor

Cantors lead the congregation in prayer and worship through song. Becoming a cantor involves an initial skill assessment, as well a training session if needed. Cantors are scheduled to sing at about two Masses per month if possible.

Instrumentalist

Those who play orchestral instruments (strings, brass, woodwinds, piano, etc.) are encouraged to come and use their gifts for any or all of our weekend Masses, as well as for solemnities like Christmas and Easter.
